If you’re planning on incorporating a bath into your new bathroom or planning on updating your current bath, you might want a little help making your choice, there’s a lot of options out there to choose from! Come and talk to us in our Bristol bathroom showroom about what bath will work best for you…
As Bristol bathroom specialists, we know what we’re talking about when it comes to baths. If you’re dreaming of a traditional style bathroom with those beautiful old fashioned features, you might be thinking of a stunning free-standing bath. Classically styled, free-standing baths can be a real feature piece in a bathroom, especially with a set of ornate bath feet to complete the look. Our Bristol bathroom showroom has a beautiful dove grey slipper bath on display to inspire you, but there are many other options on offer such as double ended or roll top baths available. If you’re in need of some ideas, we suggest checking out the options on offer from Burlington and Bayswater.
You might be planning a modern style of bathroom, but still want that stunning centre piece of a contemporary free-standing bath. We have the striking Essence free-standing bath from Pura Bathrooms Group on display in our showroom, which looks quite the feature in a modern bathroom. For more inspiration on modern free-standing baths, there’s also Carron and Cleargreen.
Shower baths can be an excellent way to maximise on space and functionality in your bathroom. The Cleargreen Ecoround bath is a perfect example of how a shower bath can be spacious for showering and comfy for bathing and can be seen on display in our Bristol bathroom showroom. For more options, take a look at the other shower baths available from Cleargreen and Carron.
If you don’t quite have the space for a shower bath, there are many rectangular options that serve very well as shower baths. We have some great rectangular baths on display in our Bristol bathroom showroom. For more ideas, Carron, Cleargreen and Bette have some superbly shaped baths that function very well as shower baths and even some designated rectangular shower bath designs. If the bath is going to be used primarily for soaking and relaxing, a single ended bath should do the trick. Or for a truly luxury bathing experience, why not consider a double ended bath for maximum comfort.
Another thing to consider is the material…steel or acrylic? There are good points to both materials. Steel baths are incredibly resilient and robust, they often come with lifetime guarantees and if they’re looked after properly, you’re unlikely to ever have to replace them. Bette produce some of the world’s best steel baths and we have some of their models on display in our Bristol bathroom showroom. Acrylic baths are available in many shapes and will stay warmer for longer, so are good for those who enjoy a long and relaxing soak. Carron and Cleargreen offer many fantastic options for acrylic baths.
Bath Panels
Depending on how you’re planning to install your bath and what kind of bath you choose, you might need a bath panel or two. There are many options available, some of which are on display in our Bristol bathroom showroom. A one-piece bath panel gives a high end and smooth finish and is perfect for corner installations. Carron have some great one-piece bath panels on offer. Some bath panels are available in a beautiful hand-painted finish to match vanity units in traditional style bathrooms. Tavistock have some beautiful traditional bath panels on offer as well as innovative water resistant bath panels in a white gloss finish, perfect for the contemporary bathroom.
